Poential guests arriving unbooked

So a woman made an enquiry - I answered her and pre-approved the booking (despite not being able to see her profile - and reviews - BIG LESSON LEARNT.  All her messages come in the middle of the night. The pre-approval expired then last night at 1.43 am I get another 3 messages saying "sorry, my mistate" and "we will be there at 6 p.m"  and "I will send you my cell phone number which is blocked by Air bnb".  I stupidly assumed that she had booked and gave the address. This morning I checked and there is no booking!!  I have messaged her to say - you MUST BOOK or don't come. NO answer. I cannot have them without a booking. I am very concerned now - no reviews despite allegedly being a member for 2 years. and living in Auckland, but only messages in the middle of the night. What do I do?

@Shona39  Contact Airbnb ASAP and tell them what this guest is doing. DO NOT let her in to your home. 

Why do you say that you can't see her profile and reviews, though? You can- just click on the circle with the letter in it to the left of the Inquiry message. If the guest actually has a profile write-up and reviews, they will appear. I'd never pre-approve someone before checking that out. And BTW, I also get Airbnb alerts in the middle of the night- sometimes from guests in my same time zone, and when I go to read the message, I see they've actually sent it 6 hours earlier- I don't know why the system lags like that.

Sarah - thank you. I sent a further message and also reported to Airbnb. I finally got a message saying that they were cancelling their trip this time! I was really pleased but very annoyed. after preparing the rooms and worrying about what the potential might be.   I need to be alot more careful in future - the system does not fully protect us in these situations.

Usually, Airbnd automatically blocks any information like numbers, emails and address on the messages for bookings that hasnt been confirmed yet, so I dont think she could see it, would be just somehting like HIDDEN BY AIRBNB.
