Possible Scam

I was looking for the short term stay in Netherland.

And I found there's this host who just joined and posted new rooms without any review.

He asks guests to check availability through his personal E-mail.

Soon I found out it's a scam and he even destroyed the FAKE SITE OF AIRBNB that he send to me in the e-mail.

BUT instead of reporting to Airbnb(which I've already done), I want to report it to the local police.

Is there anyone who could help me to report this M*THER****ER!!!

The room is still on the list and they just keep deleting and reposting it.

I'll be so grateful for that!!

@Yen-Chiung0  Why do you need help to report it to the police? Just contact them and ask if they have a cybercrimes division you could report this to. These scammers seem to be unstoppable, though, they are really clever. I don't know how the police could track them down, as everything about them is fake. Except, presumably, the bank account or address they ask their marks to transfer money to. But they probably close those down as fast as they shut down their fake listings.

I wish the police would do a sting on these scammers. Like make a booking, send a money transfer, then follow the money. It would have to be Interpol or something, because these scammers seem to be sending out the exact same emails and are doing this on a global scale.

Well, because I'm not in Netherland. And I check on their police website, e-mails are for emergency and several personal information are required. An international call will charge way too expensive, that is why I ask for help to see if there's anyone live there has a better way.

There're gotta be some ways to track them, because I have encountered similar scams before and I made a report to the police. 3 months later, I got a mail from the prosecution office which asked me to testify since they got the scammer.

@Yen-Chiung0 I don't have any suggestions for that, but I don't see why it would have to be reported to the police in the Netherlands, as opposed to the police in your own country. If you are from Taiwan, you were targeted as a victim of this scam, so you should be able to go to the Taiwanese police to find out how and where to report this. Since these are all scams, the scammers could be anywhere in the world- just because they say the listing is in the Netherlands doesn't mean the scammers are actually there. On all these scam Airbnb listings, the emails they send out,  no matter where in the world they or the recipient are, they read almost exactly the same. This makes me think this is an organized international scam. And we have no idea if these criminals are sitting at their computers in Europe, the US, Africa, Latin America, Australia, etc.
