So I have been talking with support and trying to make sence in the new pricing that apparently happened.
When I go to try search our listings (and our friends) I can see, that the price in the search is not what we setted up. We might have price 23€ and in the search it will show 34€ per night.
Before the price was first what we setted up and after it clearly shown what the added fees and taxes were!
Now our guests think we got way to expensive.
Do you have the same problem?
Our bookings dropped a lot! This is clearly wrong move (from marketing point of view)

The way it is shown is the same for everybody, so it is still the same competition when compared to other listings. It has changed recently because some host's set low nightly prices and very high cleaning fees, which did not lead to misleading and not a fair comparison. when searching for accommodation.
Even the EU complained about lack of transparency in pricing, so that's why the general terms changed recently.

Emiel

Thank you so much Emiel!
That makes a lot of sence. If it is like that now for everybody, and for this reason, I completely understand.
I dont know the airbnb support couldnt just tell me that.
Maybe I wasnt explaining my issue right.
Thanks!
