Pricing Options

I'm new to the community as a host, I am trying to figure out if existing reservations are effected by my pricing option updates. I'd like to increase my cleaning fee and change my extra persons rate. I have some confirmed reservations for later in the year. If I change these options will it change their reservation...because I'd like to avoid that.

I would like to know the answer to your question too. 

Our self contained unit has accommodation for 4 people and currently I offer the unit as a package deal for 4 people: ie same price for 1 person or 4.  I would like to alter my pricing to include 2 people in the basic price and set a price for extra guests. I too was wondering if any change to the extra person status would affect current bookings.

Changes only go forward. Any existing (booked) reservations are going to stay that price. However, when you change the room prices or fees and a change happens to an existing booking, then the new prices get incorporated as a part of the change.

For example, if I usually charge $12 per extra person, which was paid on a booking for the second person. Then I change my per person fee to $15, then a third person is added...the cost will be $15 for that late added person.
