Hello, I have been renting my house for a couple of months now but till the moment nobody has asked or booked anything.
is this normal or there are
some problems I have to solve in order to make my house more attractive?
Thanks
That’s right but not thanks to AirBnB. After all this time only one Person sent me a message but never came. That’s why I’m asking if this ir normal or something or wrong. Thanks
I looked at your listing and it is instantly bookable from September 8-th on.
I see you don't have wifi but you do offer pocket wifi. Maybe you could check off Wifi as well, many people don't know the difference and will use wifi filter in search. Just make sure you explain the difference in "other things to note" section.
I would advise you to write more about your neighborhood. I've never been in Havana (but I would love to) and I have no clue where is the city center, where tourist attractions are located, how far your house is from there, do I need to take a bus or it is walkable distance, what makes your neighborhood interesting? Is it safe?
And You need professional photos. Photos are selling the product, don't underestimate their power 🙂
Thanks a lot for your comments. I’ll follow your advices.
The area is very safe and you can walk to the city center but it can take you maybe half an hour. Or you can take a taxi or a bus as well.
In my neighborhood there are some restaurants and one of the 100 best places in the world called FAC (Cuban Art Favtory). You can come anytime to Havana. There is also a theater and soon there’s going to be a Handicraft’s mall. You can also rent a bike and do a guided city tour.
Thanks a lot
@Yoandris0 I don't what is the usual season for tourists or visitors to your area. I took the time to search for a place with similar amenities including breakfast and see that there are many places with a lower nightly rate. When I started several years ago, I researched my competion and found the average price then price my place about 10% lower until I had about 10 guests and 10 reviews. Perhaps you could look at your competition as well and lower your price to start. You place looks very nice. You should add captions to your photos that help sell the space and yourselves as hosts. Good luck!!
Thank you very much for your comment. I did that but nothing happened. I’ll add some captions and try to ad more professional pics. Thanks
