Problems with changing my email

Hello! I am trying to change my account email address and I'm having problems. I make the change and hit "Save"; I'm told to confirm my identity by logging into Facebook. A new window pops up with Facebook login. I enter my login info and the window disappears but my information is not saved. Instead the edit page just remains as it is, and when I refresh the page my old email address appears. Help!
