Quality of guests declining?

Maybe it's just me, but I'm wondering if anyone else has felt like the quality of guests and how they treat your unit has declined dramatically.

I've just had several in a row that leave stains on towels, sheets, blankets, all the things. Stains from makeup, hair dye, blood... we provide makeup wipes and cloths and a first aid kit. I just don't seem to understand why people think it's ok to stain the linens so much. Stains on the carpet and spills left in the fridge. We used to have such respectful guests that left our unit so clean. Anyone else having these issues increasing? Anyone have tips to help guests understand these are our private houses and not hotels?
