Questions from a start up soon person

Good morning,

I’d like to make sure this is legal and my choice,  I’d like to welcome anyone to make reservations when I am not going to be home, however when I just rent out a room and will likely be home, I’d like to only offer that to women since I live alone as a single women and would feel uncomfortable with men or at least a lot of worry until I met them each time which is a lot of energy,...;)

I know everyone has has lots of opinions, I just need to know if this is legal.  This is just trying to stay safe.

Indeed you can specify to rent only to the same gender if you will be sharing spaces in your home- so this is perfectly fine and legal for you to do.

I would make sure you are clear about it in your listing details and house rules.
