Hi, I’m wondering about guest reviews. I’ve received some 1’s and 2’s for reviews and I’m wondering how the ratings go. Is 1 the best or is 2 a better rating than a 1?

Sorry. Let me explain better. I received 5 stars but I received a 1 rating for squeaky clean for a review and the next review I received a 2 for squeaky clean. I. Just wondering which is better?
I hope you are no referring to "1 or 2 stars" as a rating received, because then you will be soon out of Airbnb business... But as the 2 reviews you allready received are excellent, i think you mean something else with "1's and 2's" ?
Best regards,
Emiel

It is still confusing me, sorry.
Ratings can be 1 to 5 stars, 5 stars is the best, 1 star is the lowest.
On Airbnb everything below 4 stars is considered as bad...
So if it was "squeaky clean" the rating for this should have 5 stars !
But maybe somebody else here can shine a light on it...as english is not my native language

I saw an earlier posting of yours (just above this one in the forum) where you had taken a screenshot of "Compliments to the Host" - which are different from ratings. The star ratings you receive ( 1-5 stars) are the guest review, which is what counts toward your stats. The compliments section is private feedback to you about what a guest found particularly outstanding (sparkling clean, local tips, etc). These are not ratings, but the numbers below them indicate the number of guests that chose to compliment you on those things.
A "1" under sparkling clean means that one guest chose to compliment you on that, whereas if you have the number 2 under "thoughful touches", then 2 guests chose that as a compliment.
Does this make it a bit clearer for you?
