Referral credit - expiry question please help

Hi guys! 

I've received a referral credit as my friend signed up but it says that it expires within 1 year. The date of expiry is the 18th September 2017. I plan to travel europe and book my airbnb's way before that expiry date BUT I will be travelling and staying in the airbnb AFTER the date of expiry (mid september). Please can someone tell me if I'm able to use the credit on that booking? Will it be valid? I guess at the time of booking I will have the discount applied? I've scoured AirBnb's T&C's but it's not very clear!

@Terri49 Hello, you have nothing to worry about if you do your reservation payment before the 18/09/2017 you will be able to use the credit. Good luck!!!
