Refund Failure

Hi, I was supposed to be refunded earlier this month due to a host pulling out at the last minute as the apartment had to be decorated.

 

Airbnb have sent confirmation I am to be refund but it could take 15 days.  This time limit has been & gone with no refund. Subsequently I have asked for updates on the refund status. I had an initial reply stating the 15 day refund lag but had no refund update. Subsequent update requests have been ignored. 

 

Has anyone else had an experience similar? If so, how was it resolved. I am thinking of going down a Ombudsman route to sort this snag out.

Seems iffy. Give CS one more chance (via a phone call) then perhaps dispute with your credit card co.
