I had to cancel my reservation because my convention was cancelled due to the COVID-19. The only people who are getting refunded is if your check in date is before April 14. Well mine is in JUNE, 3 months away. If people are being refunded because of what is going on then everyone should be. I understand the host is expecting me but it is 3 months away. I will NEVER do this again. If I had stayed at a hotel I would have been able to cancel with no problems but I really liked the idea of being in a house. NEVER again I will put up with a hotel. I would actually understand better if it was next week and I didn´t get a refund because they may not get someone to take my place but 3 months is ridiculous. Not a good experience and I will never make that mistake again and if anyone ever asks I I will definitely tell them not to do the Airbnb, bad idea!!!!
