Please can anyone help me with an answer, I am new to hosting so a bit blank lol! I just accepted a booking and for some reason the guest said she wasn’t shown any payment details for her to pay. The guest cancelled the booking and tried again straight away and it went through ok, so she tells me. Do I have to send a refund for the cancelled
booking and if so how? Or will it be done automatically by Airbnb? Any help gratefully received
@Michelle2596 What makes you think that she was actually charged the first time? It sounds like her first attempt glitched out somehow.
Never get involved with the payment process of guests, which a host can't do anything about, anyway- that's between the guest and Airbnb. And even if a guest tells you they were charged twice, you would have no way of verifying that- it would be foolish to just take their word for it.
