I have a guest and a friend who booked in for a month,  but decided not to stay because they said they felt unsafe in the house and the neighborhood,  and  claims that my property manager was drunk.  My manager was not drunk and is always friendly and socialable. There have never been any problems with her and any of the guests.  I have been hosting  since 2011.  The guests seemed annoyed  when they asked for a safe (the website doesn't list this as being available) and was told that there was no safe. But the manager offered to secure the passports in her safe at her home.  The manager was worried when she could not make contact with the guests and alerted me 24 hrs later they were not at the house.  They left most of the lights indoors  and  outdoors on,  and a fan had been running continuously for that time. The guest still has a key to the property and is requesting a refund.  I have no objections to her returning to complete the stay,  but  I do not think she is entitled to a refund, as per Airbnb policies about renting 28 + days. Your feed back is appreciated. This was a booking made 7 months ago.
