Of course it will be experienced negatively by the guest, @Jared113 if a host does not give a guest what they want. If the money is important, don't agree. If the guest getting what they want is important, agree. It is your choice as to how you run your business. Why would you want Air BNB to regulate your business?
When a guest changes their mind you can be understanding and actually look like the hero by agreeing to a partial refund or a total refund for unused nights. Or, you can stand by your cancellation policy and respond to any negative review with a professional response that puts the issue right back on the guest.
