What do I do if a guest inquiers to books for 1 adult, but in a message tells you it will be for 6 adults?

I just asked them to change from 1 to 6.

But do I accept or decline for now or just wait?

Can't alter it from my end...

@Mario802 when it comes to inquiries it is enough just to answer, you don't have to accept or decline.

You can change the guest number until the day of check-in. After this date it is no longer possible. However, if you accept the reservation with only a single guest and then request a change for 6 guests you will depend on the Guest accepting this change.

So, Ideally everything should be resolved before the reservation is confirmed.

Please Help!

I reply potential guest that I had not enough space to accommodate amount of people. After few hours she already paid.  I tried to get hold of her and she had to cancel.  I lost cancellation fee without sending pre-approval?  What can I do not to get in hot water again? Bad first experience with AirB&B.
