I was checking my calendar for December and noticed a 7 night booking. I can locate a message or e mail that I even accepted the booking. I have looked back in all my messages and the request is not there. Also searched my e mails with guest name and nothing. Any ideas ?
@Bruce320 When you click on the reservation and then "full itinerary," is there a confirmation code? If so, I would contact Airbnb (my preferred method is by sending a message to @airbnbhelp on Twitter) and ask them to give you more information about the booking. Alternatively, when you're in the itinerary, click "message" and see if there's any message history there.
And no, I've never had this happen - it's so strange!
Yes to what @Ann72 said previously but sometimes there is also a grey area where a guest can block for a few hours a set of dates as they “requested” it but had not followed with updating payment method. If this still persists for tomorrow afternoon or something then definitely get in contact with them (Airbnb)!
