Response rate

Thank Airbnb give me a chance to be a host!

Since I am a new host, not familiar with the system. I was bussy with the fulfilling of my house information and sometimes puzzled over the English politics. I didn't realize the Response Rate is important to become a superhost. Eventhough there is help info says,

"Your response rate is the percentage of new inquiries and reservation requests you responded to within 24 hours in the past 30 days."

I replied to every guest as soon as possible. I believe every question had been replied within 1 hour.  However, I noticed that my Response rate is still 0%! ! ! !  hence I realized that I thought only if replied very well though messages, the response rate would be ok.  But it is not enough! I have to make decision whether to receive or reject, through the system.

Does my understand right?  If so, I hope you can add some caution or warning when the host didn't or forgot to receive or reject the guest's applying before too late.

Now I think I can't become the so-called superhost anymore. Eventhough I replied to every guests by messages very quickly. Sad....
