Hello Hosts,
I am quite new with airbnb and i have just hosted 2 of my first guest for the past couple of days, after their check out, everything was good according to them and i sent them a message if they can leave a review for me as it will be a great help for our small family business. But i havent been getting any reviews from them and i was wondering if i should hit them up again with a message, reminding them to give a review during their stay? I dont want them to feel i am pressuring them or just plain annoying.
any opinion and suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you

@Theodore-Timothy1Bear in mind, too, that once you leave a review, they'll be messaged by the platform and prompted to leave you a review to "see what you wrote". The review window is 14 days. I believe guests are reminded by the platform at the 7 day mark and again a couple of days before the window closes. Messaging the guest again yourself might annoy them, as that will make for a lot of messages/reminders.
Also, if they are traveling onward from you, they may be waiting for a convenient time to take a break from sightseeing (or whatever) in order to sit down and do reviews.
I'd counsel patience.
Best of luck in hosting, and welcome!
Hope you are well and welcome to hosting.
Every host has different view on this matter- personally for the sake of my sanity I don’t even look at the in depth of a review anymore. However, as you are starting out I imagine you are hoping to exert yourself as a professional!
Personally, I would not remind them again but just write a review for them- this normally spikes people’s curiosity and as the review is only visible once both parties have written theirs... it should work!
Good luck to you!

@Theodore-Timothy1, not all guests leave reviews and I would not bother them. As @Yadira22 said, once is enough and actually I would probably not message guests in the future even once about leaving a review. Most of them will leave a review, but not all.
