Scam?

I recently experienced a lot of fake activity on my account, both for hosting and for reservations.  The messages all had a common thread, and went something like "I like your house, my phone is about to die, I will text when I'm close"  and showed up as instant booked only 30 minutes from the arrival date. Most happened late at night or early in the morning and the latest claimed that I had stayed at someones house and charged me $1287 through PayPal and it CAME out of my BANK.  Chasing down this claim through Paypay and Airbnb where customers service people refer you up some "chain of accountability" and do not do a lot of communicating other than "I have referred this to a different department" has been nerve wracking to say the least.  I finally took it up with my bank, but the activity is still on my Airbnb account. Has anyone had a similar experience.

At least you can report the profiles (or messages) to Airbnb by using the "flagged" textlinks in them.
