Hi I am new to hosting on this site, and got a text and notification from a foreigner who wants to stay for about 1 month. They have no history as a renter on Airbnb so I am concerned. I am a female who would like to only rent to other females and don't know how to specify this- I would so appreciate any feedback. Thank you

Hi @Terri183
if you are renting a room in your property and the guest will share areas with you, you can choose to host only females.
Make that super clear in your listing.
My title says : room in Peckham, females only.
And I say that again in the description.

All hosts, beware of these airbnb scamers, they would stay at your place, enjoy the complete stay, and after check out, they would file for refund, they would leave nasty comments and then threaten you for money, please spread this msg, i have all proof of their doings, They book by the name Sagarika from Mumbai, India, save yourselves and do not entertain them.
Yes. I too have received numerous ( too many to count) requests to stay for 1 month from unverified contacts that use translation from China. I report each of them. They are scammers. If it smells fishy or too good to be true….it usually is. It is simply a pain to deal with them every week. I wish Airbnb would intervene.
