Security deposit

 What is the average security deposit?

@Janice125   I am not aware of an average SD as the variety of listings is so great.  Private rooms have less damage risk than entire home, so the SD would be lower.  Also, since the host does not have control over the access to the SD, having a SD is more symbolic and can be seen as a deterrent to bad behavior.  I came up with what I thought a good guest could accidentally do in damage.  So far I have not made a claim.
