Security deposit

As a host, can I add a security deposit to an existing booking?

I am new to hosting and forgot to set this up from the outset. I have now applied at £250 security deposit but would like to apply this security deposit to the two upcoming reservations I have.

@Charlotte39 No, you cannot apply a Security Deposit retroactively to reservations.  Once you set your Security Deposit it will apply to all subsequent reservations.  Keep in mind that Security Deposits are a kind of safety net for hosts and are not charged to the guest unless the host makes a claim for damages through the Resolution Center.
