Hello All,

I am new with AirBnB.  Was wondering how common, if at all, it is to advertise only women for guests.  Angie

There have been numerous questions about this - it's clear that AirBnB take a dim view of the situation, but some people make it clear in their listings that they only take female guests, due to safety issues, etc...

You will of course cut your market by about 50% - but up to you as to how you go about marketing your home.

Also note that in some countries you are legally running a business or offereing a service and therefore you are not allowed to discriminate on the grounds of race, gender, religion, etc...

If you are hosting in your own home, your personal safety is a priority as such if you feel more comfortable just having female guest, then make it clear in your listing.

What is Airbnb's Anti-Discrimination Policy?

Airbnb is an open marketplace. Through their experiences on Airbnb, we hope that our guests and hosts build meaningful connections with people from all over the globe.
