Selfish guests who give you a low rating because you don't meet all their demands. I recently had a group of 3 people (mother and 2 daughters) who gave me 5 stars in 4 categories and 4 in 2. There overall rating was 3 stars. I was not happy because I think there rating was retaliatory. Because none of them were keen to share a bed I even gave them an extra bed which was not advertised on my listing. On their day of departure they texted me to say they wanted to stay until after lunch (checkout is 11am), I said that wasn't possible but they could stay until 11.30am and leave the bags until 2pm... I don't offer this as a service on my listing. They agreed to do this but took the front door key with them without permission, even though I said I would be here at 2pm. I even have a key safe so they could have left the key in there. I think they were annoyed because I didn't let them stay till after lunch. While they were here they didn't go out much and seemed to spend alot of time showering and washing their hair. I don't how how these guests got a 5 star rating.
@Karen1852 I can feel your pain. General rule of thumb. The more demanding guest, the harder to please them.
At least their review does not contain too much negative info and things not included in your listing and very false statement. Just move on and keep happy!
Unfortunately once you started giving into these guests they just started becoming more demanding. When they said they didn't want the double and single they had booked I would have asked Airbnb to cancel the booking so they could find a three bed place.
What a shame that you left a glowing review of these guests , rather than an honest one, to warn future hosts.
