Setting only 1 day as Preparation time?

I can't figure out how to set my listing to only have ONE day in between reservations. I only see the options of 'None', 'Block 1 night before and after', and 'Block 2 nights before and after'. I do not want to reset the house same day as checkout, but could have it available the next day for rental. So I need the option 'Block 1 night after'. Is this possible?

I don´t think there´s a way to make it automatically i just do it manual, I have it in block one night before and after, and the i go to the calender a put available the day that i want sometimes the before, sometimes de after.

@Garrett47 @Erica266  It is very confusing how this works, as it is not stated in a way that explains it properly. What it really should say is "Block one day between reservations", because this is, in fact, what that setting does. Checking that setting does not block one day after and one day before a reservation, leaving you with 2 unbookable days. 

The "one day after" doubles up as the "one day before".  Guest A books the 1st to the 5th, checking out on the 5th. The night of the 5th will be blocked as the "day after", meaning no one else can check in on the 5th. But if Guest B wants to book the 6th to the 11th, they can do that- the 5th, that is the "day after" for Guest A, also becomes the "day before" for Guest B.

I hope I explained that clearly. It took me 2 years of hosting to figure this out 🙂 I really don't understand why Airbnb can't make this clear in their wording of that setting.

@Laura_C  Could you please talk to the tech team about making this setting explanation more clear, as this confusion and misunderstanding comes up often.

The setting for prep time should read "Block one night between each reservation" not "Block one night before and after each reservation", which leads to hosts thinking that 2 days will be blocked between reservations, which isn't true.

Chiming in here on an old conversation. Does anyone know how to open up one of those "preparation days" to make it available? I would like to open just the one night the same day someone checks out but it won't allow me to.
