Setting up an experience and how dreadful the setup is and how little info there is to help

I am trying to set up an experience my first one so understand it might take a bit to understand how to wrok the system but man it is just cumbersome and not very friendly or honestly not even worling well and it lets you have no preview, the photos no where does it say best sizes to post and they do not load correctly even if you resize

but mostly to much info that just leaves you hanging.. and things being asked with no reference to understand just very disappointed in the set up so far.  please anyone give some direction as to how long it takes for approval once subitted would be a good start. is there a preview ofr them as one would expect?
