Showing up in Search

Hello fellow hosts. I have a property in Sapphire Beach a small town a couple of km north of Coffs Harbour. My property will only show in a search specific to Sapphire Beach rather than in a search for the larger city of Coffs Harbour. Many other properties in Sapphire Beach and much further away from Coffs show in a Coffs search but sadly not mine. Any suggestions to fix this problem would be appreciated. Wendy

Wendy, there is a wide mix of things that come into play that determine what a person sees when they do a generic search (ie without dates and prices etc). In general that will tend to show the new hosts on the block (for a period of time) plus then those with IB switched on, with superhost status, those getting new bookings, with no guest cancellations, etc...

You can try to bolster your position on the listings pages by changing text/photos on a regular basis.
