Smart Pricing disabled when using Channel Manager

Smart Pricing disabled when using Channel Manager

Hi all,

We are using a channel manager to sync rates and availabilities through various platforms, but found out that using a xml channel manager makes smart pricing disabled. Is there a way to re-enable it so that the synced rates get treated as smart pricing rates?

Thank you!

@Theodore30 what do you mean by that? You want the Airbnb smart pricing rates to be propagated to other channels? Obviously you can't have two rates for one listing...

Hi Lisa, its absurd for sure, we were thinking if there was some way to keep smart pricing working by defining the synced price as "max", but it looks like the whole point of having synced rates is to have 1 rate across all channels, therefore smart pricing can no longer work.

Still, thank you for your reply!

@Theodore30 I see. No, I don't think you can do that. If you want to continue to use smart pricing you can do a simple ical integration to/from Airbnb instead of full xml integration. Then your calendar will be sync'ed but not your rates.

Hello guys,
Like in all ota's we should be able to plan our rates.
This restriction isnt normal in our point of view
How airbnb will be competitive with others when there is only 1 price to sell
Or do we have to go primitive again and stop using channel manager in order to plan rates.
I can't understand why this is so difficult to be fixed.
I am sure though that i have seen this option, to use minimum stay early bird and last minute rates inside channel manager. Probably its something new and few companies can provide that for now
