I'm having an issue with a guest not following my "NO SMOKING IN OR ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY." Twice I've had to tell him. He and his Fiancee are here for another 10 days. Any ideas? Thanks.
Review the link below about handling this type of situation on Airbnb:

A lot of people just don't read the rules. You have to put up "No Smoking" signs. I stick one on the refrigerator and one under the glass desktop. In my rules I explain that future guests are expecting a non-smoking stay. I also say that my goal is to provide for guests a room with no smell at all. I also tell people in my rules not to spray cologne, air freshener or carpet freshener on the carpet -- Some guests will try to mask the cigarettes and weed by spraying cologne about the room.
Just so you don't anger entitled guests, put a little note below saying "Please smoke outside".
Hi @Michelle-And-Guy0 This guest is breaking your house rules by smoking. If this continues, contact Airbnb and have them cancel the reservation and move him someplace else. I have a NO SMOKING sign in with the photos of my listing and remind all guests of this rule prior to accpting a reservation request. All of our guests are met at check-in and again reminded of the no smoking rule. It is again referenced in the written house rules posted in the house.
I understand "no smoking inside" rule but I don't understand why they are not allowed to smoke outside? It's not that the air outside is not polluted by cars and other traffic anyway.
We have a "NO SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY" policy because the entrance to our suite is in our front yard. We live in a very quiet neighborhood with not a lot of vehicle traffic. We also spend alot of time in our yard, so we appreciate our guests not smoking. You are not allowed to smoke within 5m of a public entrance in our city. We should be able to ask our guests not to smoke, on our PRIVATE PROPERTY.
@Michelle-And-Guy0 unfortunately your last move is: "it seems like you're not willing or able to abide by our No Smoking Anywhere on the Property rule, perhaps you'd rather move to another place?" Then they either shape up or ship out.
(keep in mind that regardless of rule breaking: if they don't stay, then they don't pay, that's just how the ABB cookie crumbles. but I'd rather have them gone than try to de-smell the place after 10 days of smoking)
