Steps Co-Hosts take to ensure hosts pay them

Hello all,

 I have been a Co-Host for over a year now on several properties and my business is starting to grow! Aside from having a contract and going to civil court after the fact, is there any protections or methods/safeguards you use to make sure you get paid?

 Now that I have clients who are not from my friend circle I have some concerns as to how to protect my business. What is to stop a host from deleting me as a Co-Host and taking all the bookings I have arranged and or completed and not pay me? By managing the bookings and guest interaction, cleaning and cleaning fees etc. I am financially invested and need to ensure I recoup those expenses. ( I do invoice every 2 weeks btw.)

Does that make sense?
