I just gained my super host status which I worked very hard for .. will it bring a lot more bookings, just a few, or none?
if I don’t get the bookings I need I’m going to reluctantly look at some multi platforms
this complicates admin ... more headache and hoops to jump through
Hi @Ben781
In my experience, Superhost doesn't bring a lot more bookings. Its mostly a mental trick from Airbnb to get us hosts to feel committed and proud to get the badge. Guests don't really seem to care a lot, and few of them - if any - use the "superhost" filter when they look for places to rent. Airbnb claims that superhosts are prioritized in search rankings, but I don't see this much in real life.
All multi platforms complicate admin, maybe rather look at how you can promote you airbnb listing more, for example either digitally, through local tourism office etc? You can find lots of good advice here on the community.

People look for the lowest price and good reviews / high ratings. Being a SuperHost isn't worth a hill of beans IMO.
It isn't the Holy Grail I'm afraid.
Does it help? Personally, yes, I think so - especially in a marketplace like London.
Elsewhere, possibly not.
Airbnb say..
Superhost: While the Superhost designation doesn’t boost a listing, the factors that earn you Superhost status do.
Not entirely sure it makes much difference to bookings. Having said that it is very nice to have but think actually the result is superhosts are always worried about losing the status so panic about any small thing that might go wrong!
