Hi there,
Does anyone in Colorado Springs have any insight as to whether or not this may come to fruition? It would have so many ripple effects I can't imagine that it would actually go through a public process and become law. Does the assessor have to present it to council? How does this work?
Asking here because I am under contract to buy a house in the Old Colorado City neighborhood to rent short term and I may not purchase it if this is the new tax scenario. It just doesn't make sense.
Thanks for any information you may share.
