Hi there,
My last tenant was most upset when he found he was one day over the 14 days allowed for a review, and is now not allowed to leave one.
While I know the rules, I do think a 14 day period is without doubt too short a time to give people who are travelling time to write one.
As my tenant said, they were travelling and mostly without wifi, and he was not able to use his computer over that period.
Surely, Airbnb could at least change the automated time to three or four weeks to allow for people travelling, which is why they are using Airbnb.
Kind regards,
Heather Mackintosh
Hi,
If the guest if upset about this, maybe you could suggest they write a reference as an alternative.
Here is how they can do it:

It's not the same as a review, but at least this way they will be able to tell all the good they think of you.
Can someone help me understand why Air Bnb has a "14 day review rule" when it comes to reviews. I want to give my host a glowing reivew but I didn't know about the 14 day rule?
