Hi! I made a booking request yesterday and my travel credit was applied. Today, the host declined saying she was fully booked despite her calendar having shown otherwise the day before. I've started looking around for other places, but my travel credit has disappeared. I read that it can only be used once and if the traveller cancels, they lose their credit. Surely I cannot lose my travel credit if a host declines or cancels?! Anyone with experience or info on this?

Did the host "cancel" or "decline"? If they declined - make sure you flag both their profile, listing and any emails to alert Airbnb that they are not keeping their calendar up to date.

I'm having an issue with the Travel Credit either. I've booked a place for a total amount of 246£ and the travel credit has not been applied at my reservation. Airbnb has charged for the entire amount. On my profile it says the credit travel will be available for the next booking, which should be above 75$.
Why Airbnb is not applying the travel credit?

@Cherona0 Your Travel Credit should be automatically reinstated within 24 hours of the host's declining your reservation request.
Has it been longer than that? You can check the status here: www.airbnb.com/invite
If it has been longer than 24 hours, then contact Airbnb.
