Two questions about visibility

Does Airbnb offer any option for promoting one's property?

I have not seen anything so far. 

My second question is - how does Airbnb order or sort search results?  I ask because when one searches by location ,say, there are many pages. Are they ordered by rating, by pricing .....what?

You are in luck, @Doreen16. The definitive answer was posted in the last day or so. It is surrounded by the noise of a thread about boosting each others' listings - don't fall for that; it doesn't work - but Administrator Lizzie wrote with some solid information.
