Viewing guest profiles

Sorry for such a basic question. I searched the help files but could not find an answer. I am using the Airbnb app on my iPad (the latest version of the app, from Aug. 15). I received an inquiry for a booking in October. I want to read the person's profile and any reviews they have received, before accepting the booking. However, I can't get to that person's profile. All I have so far is their message in my Inbox. Nothing that I tap on - their name, the tiny thumbnail photo, or the message itself - will bring me to their profile. What am I missing here? How do I read their profile?

You may have to use full version on desktop to access profile.

OK, thank you. I was able to view his profile on my iPad by loggin to airbnb.com using the Firefox web browser. How strange that the Airbnb app won't let me view it.

At any rate, his profile shows only his photo, 2 verifications and his Wish List locations. I can assume from this that he has not written any profile information and has no reviews yet?

@Bob0 I think your assumption is correct. I have asked guests to complete their profiles. Sometimes the website does not allow them to do that so they usually message me a quick profile. This would be a good opportunity for airbnb to require a profile as part of becoming a member. I also ask guests to add more verifications. I do this before accepting a reservation. No one has refused. We often get brand new members with no history. So if they don't give me additional info, I would not accept booking. Elaine

I have the same question. Not sure where I go to view prospective guest profile. I use my iPhone and rarely at a computer. Does it include previous comments from other hosts?

@Bob39@Elaine-and-Duane0@Susanne93. Want to know more?  Just type their name into Google, ditto the phone number.  You would be surprised at how easy it is to identify people.

What phone number?  The Airbnb info only shows a first name and no phone number.

In the Android app, you have to click through to the "details" of the guest reservation/request/inquiry and then click on the person's face/thumbnail.  It will take you to the guest's information including their "about me" information, if they filled it out, their reviews and their verifications.

I too cannot find any profile on a potential guest who may be fine (or a terorist!) I cannot tell as he says he has a photo on his profile. Where is his profile, if there is one? I have a photo of his whole person minus his head! How do I find a full profile or know if there is one? This is urgent as he may or may not stay for a long time.
