Visa V pay denied when added as payment method...why?

So I have my Airbnb account and already did my first booking successfuly, but noticed that because I use a country that is not using EUR, although my bank account in my country is in EUR,mthe Airbnb website withdrew my local currency and then converted it in EUR again and in the end I was overcharged with 9€, thank you very much Airbnb. Now I made my French Visa Vpay card and when I try to add it I receive that my card cant be accepted and I need to contact my bank. Why? I used my cards and eveything was good paid online and in the store..
