What does pending verification on the payout preferences section mean?

Hi All, 

I am new and have checked in a guest last week, however havent recieved payment. I looked at my payout preferences and the status says pending verification. I have searched the FAQ but can not find any thing relevant on what this means, does any one know what this means or if I have some thing I need to do?
