What to do if a host falsely argues I threatened her

I never requested for compensation and the host simply argued that and airbnb took off my review saying I violated rules which I did not.

What rules did airbnb say you violated @Ella131

Thank you for the reply. They sent me a link to check the extortion policy. But again I never called and threatened the host.

The host requested additional money arguing that I checked out later than agreed. I denied that. The host escalated the matter to airbnb and it hasn't been resolved yet. I wrote a negative review, where I mentioned the refund and that it was requested falsely.

Please advise.

@Ella131  If you mentioned Airbnb involvement in the dispute, they will remove any review which mentioned that. At this point, it's basically your word against the host's, as the back and forth seems to have happened verbally, rather than though Airbnb messaging?  And in this case they are backing up the host, rather than the guest. It often goes the other way. Not much to be done, really.  I know it's maddening and frustrating.

Luckily you have a few other reviews, all attesting to you being a good and welcome guest. So I wouldn't lose any sleep over this, if I were you.

Thank you Sara.

That's the thing. The whole communication was managed via airbnb. The host was never available via viber/whatsapp, so I couldn't call her, due to otherwise high costs.

My sister called her once (she had the possibility) only in order to extend the check out time, but she hasn't threatened anyone. They arrived very late the previous evening and asked the host politely.

The fact that the host is lying and saying I threatened (at some extent criminal activity) is not only frustrating but insulting my very essence...
