What to do if your guests break your house rules? (I.E. Parties, smoke indoors, disturb neighbors)

Hi All,

I've been dealing with a guest who has limited communication. She booked our home for 3 days for 3 guests. Turns out, she's throwing a party at home, smoking indoors, and causing my neighbors to call me to question if everything was alright. I have rules clearly stated, require a security deposit, but there is no way to enforce this. What has been your experience, and your best suggestion for handling situations such as this? Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you.

Joe

Evict her, now. call Airbnb first and let them know how she's breaking your rules and tell them you want them to cancel her reservation immediately. She agreed to your rules when she booked.

@Joe2154  when guests break No party Rules don't negotiate by asking money just ask CS to ask them to leave. or you will call the Police.

When guests think they can have their way out by paying extra they will do it again, but if they are aware they will get kicked out they will think 2 twice.

I closed my eyes on small rules like bringing 1 extra guest but not on Party Policy/Noise Policy

Airbnb sent to hosts this week a link to Minut (https://airbnb-eu.minut.com) as Party Prevention tools u should have a look at.
