When does guest get security deposit back and does it show as a line item on their bill?
When is the security deposit refunded and does it show up on the guests bill as a line item? I have a guest that thinks I cheated them out of $100 and gave me a review reflecting that and I believe it is the security deposit they are not aware they paid. When will they get it back they already put a review that we overcharged and it is not true.
The guest does not pay the security deposit unless there is a problem and you claim against their deposit, otherwise it is never taken from them so that would not be it. The $100 would be for something else, you should e-mail the guest to explain such an accusation. Also speak to Airbnb, they can remove malicious reviews.
