Where is my payment?

Where is my payment?

Hi all, guests checked into our house on the 12th January. We have not received the payout yet from Airbnb. Is there a public holiday where the payouts are controlled from? An email from Airbnb would be nice, advising if this is the case. Is there a problem with Airbnb? I have had no problems previously with receiving funds and nothing has been altered since our last booking. What is going on?

My payments come through pretty quickly but not on the same day.

Hi David, ours normally comes through the day after check in. It's now 2 days after and the funds are still not transfered from Airbnb to my paypal account, that's why I wondering what's going on.

I understand that Paypal has had issues over the past 24hrs and mine has only just arrived.

The Paypal issue has also effected Ebay payment and payment emails with delays of 24hrs and beyond.

Maybe worthwhile checking your Paypal account in case payment has been made but no advisery email has been dispatched.

I have had guests in my home since the 31st of Jan 2017 and sill havent been paid, it says they have transferred the payment on air BnB but my bank has not receieved anything and not rejected the payment, I have been back and forth with phone calls but i have not heard anything yet. I dont know what to do anymore

Yes, I received my payment, after much mucking around from Airbnb. They kept telling me that payment had been sent, yet it was only appearing in the Completed transactions under Acconts, in the Amount column, not the paid out column. We did not receive an email from Airbnb as per usual when the amount is paid to us. I called them every day until it was finally resolved, but only after I told them I was going to commence legal action to recover funds.

 

Have you received a confirmation email from Airbnb, notifying you that payment has been made? hey kept telling me that it had been paid out, yet their own system disputed this.

 

They kept giving me reference numbers to contact Paypal to have them search for it, but their reference number was not an Alphanumeric number as required by paypal!

 

It was very frustrating and annoying!!

 

It was amazing how quickly it was fixed after I threatened legal action.

What number did you use to call them? It's been 48 hours since my guests checked in and I haven't seen a payment even show as paidout in my AirBnB account. Not sure what to do...
