Why am I not getting paid? Why can't I talk to a Airbnb rep to answer my simple question?

I've hosted three stays in the past two weeks.  They are all gone and had a good time, giving me good reviews.  There is no record of their visit.  Nothing in the transaction history showing that they ever existed.   No record in my PayPal account showing any payments.

I'm sure this is a very simply issue to correct.  How come I can't find a way to ask a Airbnb representative?  Accounting errors and mistakes are common place.  I am not pleased at all about the latter issue.

I too would like to understand why airbnb is so hard to contact.  I get great reviews from guests but am frustrated that I can't even get my cabins to show up under airbnb's search!

welcome to my club

airbnb doesn't want to talk to hosts as much as possible . i tried manuy times u wait long  long  long time to someone pick up the phone

]thew excuse is due to covid -19 we are experiencing long waiting time., someone working in office or from  home what is the excuse of covid -19 nonsense .

they laid of people to save money , i noticed since covid -19 started airbnb started to ignore hosts more and more , yet hosts are the bread butter for airbnb ., if hosts go away they have nothing to sell .

I am not getting paid either!!!

Have you gotten paid now?

So, it turned out to be a simple accounting issue. It was no problem. I had a cancellation for over $100 and that amount stayed in my air B&B account. As I got new guests their payments were credited toward that debt until it exceeded the amount of the cancellation at which point I began receiving deposits into my PayPal account once again. I figured that it would be something like that, what upset me was that I had trouble contacting anyone. Once I discovered the phone number I had no trouble getting through and I received good customer assistance. The weird thing about all this is that their phone number is absolutely nowhere on the Airbnb website. The only way that I could find the phone number was to Google Search for quote Airbnb phone number quote. Now I have saved that number in my phone, but it just seems a little ridiculous to not post your own f****** phone number on your own f****** website. How stupid is that?

I've always been able to find the phone numbers on the Itinerary (check any of your guests Itinerary...it should be there under Customer Service).

Also, I've found the number by going to Help, then Contact, then select My Question is about something else, then click on the Urgent button with a phone icon.

Sounds like intentional hiding of vital information to me.  I'm glad you and I were lucky enough/persistent enough to finally find the number.  Airbnb is not giving out a professional image in this area.  Just pissing off good customers.

What specifically happens when you try to contact them? Any time I've contacted them, they're very quick to resolve the issue.

Once I was able to contact them I received first-rate customer assistance. The problem was how to contact them? The phone number for Airbnb customer assistance is absolutely nowhere to be found on the Airbnb website. There's not even any chat options on their website that I could find. Most people consider me to be a fairly computer savvy person who knows how to navigate the web as good as anyone so if I can't find it there's a serious problem here. They are hiding their contact information intentionally to cut down on the amount of calls they receive, obviously. That's lame in my opinion. The only way that I was able to find their number was to do a Google search for Airbnb phone number. Which, admittedly, is an easy thing to do, however why wouldn't their phone number be somewhere obvious on their website? That's cheap.
