Why do the dates for confirmed reservations differ from the check-in and check-0ut dates?

Hi. I'm new to hosting and have been quite confused by receiving confirmed reservations which state 'You have a confirmed reservation for 12-15 July.'  When I check the actual check-in and check-out dates, it is actually 13 to 16 July.  Why does this happen?  This happens for every booking and does not appear to have any logic.  Have other hosts experienced this?

I never experienced this. In the reservation it states the same dates as for check-in and check-out.

Also in the conformation email it comes up with correct dates. Are you using the app or the website ?
