Hi everyone,
Like I said In a previous thread in airbnb I decided to post my airbnb story from the beggining.
My girlfriend offered me a trip to Barcelona as a birthday gift, that was in the end of next year, but I could only travel this year because of work.
Everything was taken care, the hosts new at what time our flight was and around what time we would arrive. On the night before we flight they asked again the time and decided to ask us more money because it was a late check-in.
We answered that we didn't agree because everything was planned for a long time and they said it was okay, and that if it wasn't they should have told us before (we could have decided for another room). After some texts traded we agreed to pay just to not have a worse start and have a chill travel...
We also noticed that there was no reference to this extra fee on the house description... and I checked with airbnb site and the house page and did a print screen (check them).
After the discussion they changed the description (they thoought we hadn't noticed). But they always acted like it was since the beggining there.
We arrived and the hosts were not there, it was another person that lived in the house (so, it even was not going to make any difference for them).
We went to visit the city... when we arrive, at night we had the unfortune to broke the locker key (this key was cheap diary key)...it just twisted while opening, no force at all. (pics)
Also, the door knob inside was broken and when I pulled the door to open it just fell.
We could have been in trouble because of the bad start, but the co-hoster confirmed both things were already broken/going to break.
On the second night we saw for 5 seconds the hoster.
On the last day we left and did a review.
After leaving we were accused publicly (airbnb) of having stolen 2 towels (aahaha) great..
There were never towels there, and we only noticed that there werent towels because he asked. We always flight with our own towels.
Unfortunatly we can't repply to the last message
