bank deposit waiting time

Airbnb told me that they have deposited 1 cent into my bank account on the 11 August, it is now the 24 August and no deposit

I tried to see if I have entered my bank account details in correctly but cant seem to find where to check this only where to add another bank account number

Is this normal ?

How can I check that they account number is correct ?

Or is airbnb super slow to process ?

I waited just under one week as I recall for that one-cent deposit to appear after the notification.  Everything since then has been on time as originally stated.

Everything about Airbnb has been awesome except for this issue!

I had this very same problem up until a few hours ago. I could see the 1 cent deposit but when I looked at my payment screen...it continued to say pending verification...very frustrating! This had been going on for 13 days. Here is how I think the problem was resolved:

Go to "help center" ..then hit "resolve Issue" ...hit "host can't help me"....a message box will appear.

Send Airbnb an email explaining your problem in writing (even thought it does not have to do with a stay). I did this yesterday and I was notified my first deposit has been sent out this afternoon. It looks like it could still take until August 29th to see my first funds...but at least I know they are on there way.

I think it must be a computer glitch in the system since the process is so much slower than what you are told to expect.
