canceling reservation

I have get a rent for 43 days without me accepting, fantastic, but I thought my calendar was blocked for some days in that period bec of a family wedding were we suppose to be in the house with a lot of guests

The one that have rent my house is registrated as only 1 adult person, I have sent her messages about this and offer to pay hotel for her for those days, I have sent her messages for 3 weeks and ask kindly to reply to my offer, I have tried to call the phone number put up in airbnb.......but no reply at all

If I cancel the reservation my house will be blocked for those days

Is there anything else I can do ?

If you are sure that you blocked those dates then call Airbnb @Kjartan0  and they will check. If you did, then you can ask Airbnb to cancel this guest's booking.

I have had this four times where Airbnb allowed bookings on dates I had blocked out.

If this was your mistake, then you could ask the guest if you could put them up in a hotel. If they don't respond to messages, why not explain the situation to Airbnb  and see if Airbnb will get in touch with the guest.
