I am a superhost. Someone just booked my place. I checked the guests profile and saw this review: "He was the worst guest that I have hosted. They did not follow the house rules, and left my house in a mess. They left drugparaphernalia in my home, and leave it reaking of marijuana, not ot mention a week of grabage that has piled up. My wood dining table had big scratches all over, and everthing was dirty. There was dirty plates piled high in the sink, the stove took several house to clean and the list goes on".
I could work around and give benefit of doubt to this guest, but the drug thing was concerning. I called airbnb and I was told that if I cancelled, they will take off my superhost status for one year, that my calendar will be blocked and I won't be able to reserve for the same dates of the canceled reservation.
What are these reviews for? If I don't feel comfortable renting my home to someone after reviewing the above review and have to face all these penalties?
Airbnb's policies for hosts are so strict and bad.
