cancellations

hello, im new on airbnb and are something that i dont understand how it works. please  can anyone help  and explain to  me :

i dont understan very well,  of what happens if i cancell a reservation,and when i can cancellation withaout penalty. if i have  e reservation at 8 august to 10 august,when  i can cancell without penalty?

and second if one guest cancell the reservation whats hapens with my reservation and my mony?

i dont know what of the methods i need to select, flexible,moderate ,strict.please can anyone explain and help me becouse im very confused.
